An outdoor sauna can become a dedicated place to warm up, slow down and step away from everyday distractions. It can also work alongside a hot tub or cold plunge as part of a wider garden wellness area.
The right choice depends on the number of users, internal seating, heater, available garden footprint, access, base and the look you want to create.
A traditional sauna uses a heater to warm the room and sauna stones. It provides the high-heat environment many customers associate with a classic sauna experience. Individual model pages covering construction, timber, insulation, heater rating, controls and seating are being added as our range is confirmed.
The curved form of a barrel sauna gives it a distinctive garden appearance and can provide an efficient internal space. Barrel models vary in length, seating orientation, glazing, porch design and heater specification — get in touch and we will talk you through the real differences between the models we offer.
Infrared is a separate type of product that heats the user differently from a traditional sauna. Coastal’s current focus is traditional outdoor and barrel saunas, so infrared models are not currently part of our range.
